Why choose Rebel auto glass to fix semi-truck windshield issues
A Local Business, Not a National Chain
We’re a Las Vegas business doing work for the drivers and fleets that move through this Valley. Most chains don’t service Class 8 trucks at all. The ones that do require you to bring the truck to a shop — rarely practical, often impossible. We come to the truck. Fair, upfront pricing. Workmanship we stand behind. A real person on the phone, not a 1-800 routing tree.
Trucks We Service
If it’s a commercial rig with a windshield, we can almost certainly help:
- Long-haul tractors and sleeper cabs
- Day cabs and regional tractors
- Vocational trucks — dump trucks, mixers, refuse, tow
- Heavy-duty work trucks
- Box trucks and straight trucks
Not sure whether your equipment qualifies? Send us the make, model, and year and we’ll let you know.
Custom Laminate Glass When Stock Isn't Available
Older trucks, owner-modified rigs, and certain manufacturer-model combinations don’t always have an off-the-shelf windshield in stock. Lead times on stock parts can stretch into weeks if they’re available at all. Instead of telling you to wait, we measure, template, and cut custom laminate glass to spec. It’s the same capability we use across our specialty work — boat glass, heavy equipment cabs, and other vehicles where standard parts don’t exist. If the original can be measured, we can replace it.
DOT Compliance — Don't Risk an Out-of-Service Order
DOT regulation 49 CFR 393.60 doesn’t leave a lot of room. Cracks, chips, or discoloration in the driver’s sweep area can put your truck out of service during a roadside inspection. If you’re rolling with damage in the wrong spot, you’re one citation and one parked truck away from a very bad day. We assess the damage, tell you whether repair or replacement is the right call, and get the truck legal — fast.
How the On-Site Service Works
You call or send us a photo of the damage along with the truck make, model, and year. We confirm the location — truck stop, fleet yard, distribution center — and book an appointment time that works around your schedule. We arrive with the tools, the glass (or the templating equipment for a custom cut), and a certified technician. The work happens where the truck is parked.
Stock replacements are typically a single visit, around 90 minutes to two hours on-site plus cure time. Custom cuts require a measurement and templating visit first, then a separate install once the glass is fabricated.
Where We Work
Major truck stops across the Valley — TA, Love’s, Pilot Flying J, and independents along the I-15 corridor. Fleet yards, freight terminals, and distribution centers in Apex Industrial Park, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and the surrounding logistics zones. Owner-operator driveways and any safe, accessible spot where the truck is parked.
Driver Safety and Visibility
A cracked or shattered windshield on a semi isn’t a cosmetic problem. It’s a structural and visibility problem at 65 mph with 80,000 pounds behind you. Cab glass on Class 8 trucks is engineered to handle road debris, rollover stress, and impact at highway speed. Compromised glass means compromised protection for the driver. Fix it before it spreads.
Fair, Upfront Pricing
Semi truck glass varies more than auto — different makes, different models, different glass specs, and custom cuts price differently from standard replacements. We quote the work before we book it. No “well, it turns out…” when we arrive. We work with most commercial fleet and trucking insurance policies and can help you understand what’s likely covered before you file.
Don't Let a Cracked Windshield Cost You a Load
The longer you delay, the more likely a small chip becomes a full crack — and the more likely an inspector parks you for it. Get a quote and we’ll get to the truck.

Frequently Asked Questions
Get A QuoteHave questions about windshield repair, replacement, or our mobile auto glass services? We’ve got answers. If you don’t see your question below, give us a call — we’re always happy to help.
What kinds of trucks do you service?
Class 8 tractors — long-haul, day cabs, regional, sleeper cabs. Vocational trucks like dump trucks, mixers, refuse haulers, and tow trucks. Heavy-duty work trucks. Box and straight trucks. If your rig has a windshield, call us.
Can you replace my windshield if my truck's at a truck stop?
Yes. Truck stops across the Valley are all locations we service. We coordinate timing around your schedule and the truck stop’s site rules.
What if the windshield for my truck isn't in stock anywhere?
This is where our custom capability comes in. For discontinued or specialty windshields, we measure, template, and cut custom laminate glass to spec. Send us a photo plus the truck make, model, and year, and we’ll let you know what’s possible and what the timeline looks like.
How fast can you get to me?
Same-day or next-day response is often available depending on the part and where you’re parked. Call us with the truck details and we’ll give you a real timeline — not a window.
Will this pass a DOT inspection?
Yes. Our replacements meet manufacturer specifications and DOT visibility standards. Repairs are appropriate for damage outside the driver’s sweep area and within the size limits of 49 CFR 393.60. We’ll tell you up front whether repair or replacement is the right call for your specific damage.
Do you work with commercial trucking insurance?
Yes. We work with most major commercial fleet and trucking carriers. Coverage varies by policy — we can help you understand what’s likely covered before you file the claim.
How long does a typical semi truck windshield replacement take?
Stock replacements are usually 90 minutes to two hours on-site plus cure time. Custom cuts require a measurement and templating visit first, then a separate install once the glass is fabricated.
